2004 SOUTH BAY, VOLUME TWO

Photographed, designed and published by HippyTree founder, Andrew Sarnecki. The positive response from local surf shop owners regarding this second South Bay publication inspired Sarnecki to create a wall calendar, tidebook, and t-shirt the following year. At the time, Sarnecki was using “Hippy” as his graffiti moniker, but had yet to release any products under the name HippyTree. The “HippyTree” tag appeared on the back cover of this 2004 publication, but had yet to be disclosed to the public on what the logo symbolized.
